3.
Alternatively, the urine hose can be connected to the drain using a water trap (art no. 1032)
These are examples of an installation. Local laws and regulations may forbid use of some or any
of these alternatives. It's on your responsibility to secure that the selected installation is allowed.
If you are installing your toilet through an insulated wall or a wall with air gap between inner and
outer wall, you must install a pipe around the urine hose to reduce the risk of vermin destroying
the urine tube.
Urine contains a lot of salt which can build up in the pipes/tube, we recommend that installations
that are longer than two meters (which the enclosed urine tube is), that the following pipe/tube
has a di-ameter of at least 40 mm to avoid blockage.
Make sure that the urine tube falls all the way (one centimeter/meter, at least two degrees) to
the whole installation. The more fall you have; the less risk of urine crystals building up in the
tube and it also prevents the urine tube will freeze and breaking when it's cold. Also make sure
that there are no air gaps where the tube bends.
If the toilet will be used during the wintertime, we recommend that the parts of the tube that are
outside is insulated with tube insulation (can be bought at a hardware store) or that the dimensi-
on of the tube is at least 50mm. You can also add a heating coil.
Do not place the tube joints near electrical appliances or a wall outlet. This to avoid fluids getting
near the electrics if the tubes would leak.

Power supply for toilet
The toilet must be connected to a power source. The toilet comes with a power cord with a uni-
versal adapter, plug in the cord and make sure that it is properly connected. Verify that the toilet
is receiving power by checking that the fan starts.
Install ventilation cap pipe/ventilation cowl
It is important to ensure that the end of the ventilation pipe is protected from rain, snow, and
prevents insects from entering the toilet. To achieve this, the toilet comes with a pipe cap that is
equipped with an integrated insect net. This pipe cap should be used when the pipe is horizontal
and must be mounted with the screen upwards to ensure protection from rain and snow. The
pipe cap fits both 75 mm and 89 mm (3,5"). 75 mm pipes go halfway in and 89 mm (3,5") pipes go
all the way in. See pictures below.
When the pipe end is vertical, the supplied ventilation cowl is to be used together with a pipe cap
to ensure that rain and snow do not enter the pipe. Pipe cap and ventilation cowl are mounted
together with the two supplied screws as shown below.
The assembled parts are then mounted as pipe ends in the same way as shown in previous
sections. It is also possible to use the ventilation cowl at a horizonal pipe end in more demanding
conditions to ensure better protection against weather and wind.
