inserting the filter into a detergent

route the tube so as to keep it from inadvertendy
contacting
the hot muffler_

Hake sure bHack spray tip is installed.
NOTE:
Detergent
cannot be appHied with the high
pressure spray tips (White,Ydlow,
or Red).

Hake sure garden hose is connected to water inlet.
Check that high pressure hose is connected to spray
gun and pump and start engine.
7.
Apply detergent to a dry surface, starting at lower
portion
of area to be washed and work upward_ using
Iong_ evem overlapping
strokes.
8.
Allow detergent to soak in between 3-5 minutes
before washing and rinsing. Reapply as needed to
prevent surface from drying. DO NOT allow detergent
to dry on (prevents streaking).
mNPORTANT:You
must flush the chemical iniection
system after each use by placing the filter into a bud<et of
clean waten then run the pressure washer in low pressure
for 1:2 minutes.

After
you have applied
detergent,
scour the surface
and rinse
it dean

Apply safety latch to spray gun.
2.
Remove black chemical nozzle from nozzle extension.
3.
Select and install desired high pressure nozzle
following
instructions
"How to Use SprayTips"
on
page I0.
4.
Keep spray gun a safe distance
from the area you plan
to spray.
WARNING
Keep spray nozzle between 8 to 24 inches away from cleaning

Operate this unit on a stable surface.
Be extremely careful if you must use the pressure washer from
a ladden scaffolding or any other relatively unstable location.
Firmly grasp spray gun with both hands when using high
pressure spray to avoid iniury if gun kicks back.
5.
Adiust spray pressure by sliding variable pressure contol
lever left or right, as shown in Figure 13 on page 9.
6.
Apply a high pressure spray to a small area and then
check the surface for damage. If no damage is found,
you can assume it is okay to continue
rinsing.
7.
Start at top of area to be rinsed, working
down with
same overlapping strokes as you used for cleaning.

If you run the engine on your pressure washer for
3=5 minutes without
pressing the trigger on the spray gum
circulating water in the pump can reach temperatures
above 125°F.The system engages to cool the pump by
discharging
the warm
water
onto the ground_
