Pitch is varied by using the pitch-control
knob O.
Adapting for other power frequency
To adapt the unit for use at a different
power-line frequency
is accomplished
by
changing the motor pulley (A), which is
secured to the motor shaft by a screw and
can be reached by removing the turntable
platter,
Fig. 22
Caution: Handle the motor pulley carefully.
A bent pulley causes rumble,

for 50 Hz, No, 220 970
Removing the turntable platter
The platter is secured by a C-ring seated
in a notch on the turntable shaft. Use a
screwdriver to remove the C-ring, then lift
off the platter,

Important: When handling the platter avoid
touching the inner surfaces with your fingers
as skin oils can cause slippage (and resulting
pitch
deviation)
