LIFTING HOOK
Only use the lifting hook to lift the unit or attach any load
restraints such as ropes or tie-down straps. DO NOT
attempt to lift or secure the generator by holding onto any
of its other components.
Before lifting the generator, inspect the bracket and make
sure it is securely fastened to the generator. DO NOT lift the
generator unless the lifting bracket is securely fastened.
1. Hook a chain or strap through the eye on the lifting hook
and make sure it is securely fastened.
2. Connect a suitable lifting device to the chain or strap.
Inspect chain and hook for any damaged links or any
defects that could cause failure. It is recommended to
use hooks with safety latches installed.
3. Lift the generator slightly to ensure it is lifting straight
and level.
