Checking:
Before operating the shredder check:
If there are tools or objects on the motor or on the
 
equipment, mainly inside the grain funnel or in
the green crop feeder.
If there is something obstructing the motor.
 
If the rotation direction is correct.
 
If the voltage of the power source is the same of
 
that of the shredder.

The motor should be started only if the lever (1) of the belt tensioner is placed on relief position, without
stretching the belt as the picture above, then in this position start the motor and after reaching its maximum
rotation push the lever (2) of the belt tensioner in the direction according to the picture below by moving the
motor on base and therefore checking if the belts are tensioned attending the operation of the crusher. It is
worth remembering that the lever of belt tensioner can only be tightening when the motor is full running, if
the motor is run-off can cause motor damage.

If there are people or objects near pulleys and
 
belts.
If the shredder cover is properly closed.
 
If the counter cutting blade is properly set and
 
tightened (pg. 61).
Note:
if the equipment is properly prepared, start
the motor, allow it to reach maximum revolution
and start working.
