Rerecording of tapes
With the use of a second tape recorder,
duplicate copies of recorded tapes can be
made. If the Dual TG 27 is used as the second
recorder, connect "radio" input jacks of both
units, using signal cable 61 A - U 50.
Switch the unit from which the recording will be
copied playback, and the unit which will make
the new recording to "record", either mono-
phonic or stereo, according to the tape to be
copied. Set the level of the new recording by
the Dual TG 27 that will be making the recording,
using the coupled level controls.
Multi-play
The Dual TG 27 can record and playback two
tracks in each direction. The multi-play technique
makes it possible to transfer a previously taped
recording from its original track to the other
track. At the same time, a new recording can
be mixed into the old. It is thus possible to
create a recording with multiple programs by
making one recording after the other.
The procedure is as follows:
For example, here is how to record a "trio" via
multi-play.
Use level control | for the new recording, and
level control II for the rerecording. Monitor both
tracks by headphones.

car à chaque repiquage, l'enregistrement perd
un peu de sa qualité. On régle toujours le nouvel
enregistrement avec la commande | et le
répiquage avec la commande
