Explanation of symbols
The warning signs and symbols are essential to ensure that you use this product safely and
correctly and to protect you and others from injury.
This symbol indicates:

that the product should not be discarded as unsorted waste but must be sent to
separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling (Fig. 1).

Description
Perceived pain in breast or nipple.
Persistent pain in the nipples at the beginning of the pumping
period, or it lasts throughout the entire pumping period, or hurts
between sessions, very similar to the pain felt during breast
feeding.
Breast swelling. The breast may feel hard, lumpy and tender.
It may include erythema (redness) of the breast area and fever.
A reddish-purple discolouration that does not blanch when
pressed. When the bruise fades, it becomes green and brown.
It looks like small bubbles on the surface of the skin.
Ruptured or cracked nipples.
The skin of the nipple tissue falls off. It usually occurs in
combination with cracked nipples and/or blistering.
Torn nipples.
Cracked or torn nipples can lead to bleeding of the affected area.
A red, tender lump appeared on the breast. This may include
erythema (redness) of the breast area and fever. If left
untreated, it can cause mastitis (breast inflammation).
