Cleaning and de-icing the evaporator
CAUTION
Sharp edges
The thin plates of the evaporator present a cutting hazard.

Wear protective gloves.
Contamination on the evaporator, e.g. ice and dust, impedes the air
flow. The contamination renders the cooling ineffective meaning that
the meal components can no longer be cooled as intended. The con-
trol unit includes a de-icing function. Manual de-icing and cleaning may
be necessary under certain environmental conditions, e.g. hot outside
temperatures and humid climates. Do not remove ice build-up with
chemical de-icers or heat sources.
1.
Disconnect the CoolMultiMobil from the power supply.
2.
Remove all trays and containers.
3.
Allow the CoolMultiMobil to defrost, overnight if necessary.
4.
Remove components 1 to 6 where possible.
5.
Clean the heat exchanger and evaporator.
6.
Clean the removed components and fans.
7.
Dry the removed components and the walls.
8.
Reinstall the components in the reverse order.
9.
Connect the fans to the sockets.
