6. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
1. Ensure that mains voltage and frequency are the same as those stated on the rating plate (A) attached to the appliance.
2. Ensure that the supply socket has the following characteristics: a) It is properly earthed. b) It is appropriate for the nominal
current as set out on the rating plate. c) It complies with the IEC regulations: - magnetothermic differential switch (circuit
breaker) with In = nominal value as stated on the rating plate; - Differential switch with sensitivity Id = 30 mA. 3. Ensure that
there is no danger of explosion (AD) in the room. 4. The connecting cable to the appliance is H05 VVF, designed for internal
use. For installation in other than internal settings, it will be necessary to change the cable with the appropriate type (for
example H07 VVF for external settings). 5. Insert the plug. (do not use triple and reduction outlets). N.B. If the appliance has,
during transport or storage, been erroneously placed in horizontal position or upside-down, it should be left in the correct
vertical position for at least 3 hours before connecting it to the electrical supply. (See picture 4)
7. CONTROL
The appliance is supplied with adjusting controls situated on the front side. 1. Thermometer: to read the temperature in the
appliance. Thermostat: to adjust the temperature in the appliance. 2. Light switch: to switch on the light inside the
appliance. 3. Refrigeration switch: to switch on the refrigeration unit. a) Press button 4 "SET or P" to see temperature
setting, this can be altered by using button 5 "UP" or button 6 "DOWN" (See picture 5)
8. CHECKING THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING
CHECK THAT: 1. Plug connected. 2. Refrigeration switch is switched on with the green light lit up. 3. Thermometer shows
the temperature suitable for the goods to be stored. 4. Inside lights switched on. 5. Door completely closed. 6. Appliance not
exposed to the direct light of the sun or to high powered lamps. 7. The ambient temperature does not exceed that in which the
appliance is designed to work normally, i.e. +30°C 55% r.h. (climatic class 4). 8. Make sure that a suitable air flow can reach
the motor, keeping the appliance at least 10 cm from the wall. 9. Make sure that the appliance is correctly loaded, taking into
consideration the capacity of the shelves.
9. CLEANING THE CONDENSER
1. Use the main switch to switch off the power supply and then remove the plug from the socket. 2. Remove the fixing screws
from the front grille and remove the grille, supporting it and making sure not to move it away too much to avoid pulling the
wiring cables from the electric box. 3. Use a brush to remove the dust layer from the condenser fins. 4. Use a vacuum cleaner
to remove the remaining dust. 5. Replace the grille and switch on the electrical supply. (See picture 6)
10. INTERNAL CLEANING
(EVERY TWO WEEKS)
1. Switch off the electrical supply as in Chapter 9. 2. Open the door and remove the refrigerated goods. 3. Wipe the sides and
the accessories with a sponge dipped in water and sodium bicarbonate. Dry with care.
11. REPLACEMENT OF THE INTERNAL LAMPS
1. Switch off the electrical supply as in Chapter 9. 2. Unscrew the two fastening screws of the upper lamp holder. 3. Detach
the upper lamp holder from the fluorescent tube with the transparent protection. 4. Remove the tube from the lower lamp
holder. 5. Remove the transparent protective tube. 6. Replace the fluorescent tube. 7. Restore everything in reverse order.

12. REPLACING THE MAGNETIC STRIP ON THE DOOR
1. Open the door. 2. Take the strip with both hands and slide it out of its fixing position on the door runner profile. 3. Replace
with a new strip, making sure to press the strip down along the edges. (See picture 8)
