APPLIANCE OPERATION
Gas refi lling (II)
Refi lling should take place outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
away from sources of fi re or excessive heat. Maintain distance
from bystanders.
Close the gas valve by moving the regulator knob as far as
it will go in the direction marked with the minus symbol and
make sure that the magneto button is not locked in the pressed
position. Use gas of good quality. The gas container should be
equipped with an adapter adapted to the valve type.
Point the burner with the valve upwards. Apply the outlet of the
gas container to the valve. Press the cylinder against the valve.
Fill until fi rst signs of overfi lling; gas will start to escape from
the connection between the burner and the gas container. Put
the burner down for a few minutes to stabilise the gas pressure
in the container.
