Perform the procedure below to store the machine for more than 30 days.
WARNING:
Do not open priming plug, discharge plug, or cover when pump is hot.
Perform the procedure below to perform air filter maintenance.
1.
After pump has cooled, remove discharge plug from pump housing and drain out
any water left in the housing.
2.
Remove the pump cover and clean inside of the pump housing. Coat inside of the
pump with a light film of oil to reduce corrosion. A spray can of oil works well for
this.
3.
Tape up suction and discharge ports to prevent anything from falling into the
pump.
4.
Change the engine oil and follow the procedures described in the engine manual
for engine storage.
5.
Cover the pump and the engine and store in a clean, dry area.
