Fitting the roof hooks to the battens
(Example for 3 collectors)

Fitting roof hooks / mounting rail
Distribute all roof hooks supplied evenly over the collector array to spread the loads
applied. For this, position the roof hooks as near to the rafters as possible.
For safety reasons, never damage cross battens or the tile under the roof hooks
(cracked, drilled, aged), otherwise they might break under extreme snow loads. If in
doubt, replace battens and / or tiles in these areas.
Standard dimensions for determining the width of the collector array
NB No consideration has been given to the installation location or the
pipe connections.

Collector array width
1. Assemble the bottom roof hooks in acc. with the Fig. and hook into the batten.
2. Assemble the bottom roof hooks in acc. with the diagram and hook it into the
batten.
Adjust the distance of 1.67 m at the upper roof hook in acc. with the Fig. using the
slot and secure with the M8x16 coach bolt.
3. Adjust the height of the fixing bracket and secure with M8x20 coach bolts.
4. Secure the mounting rail in acc. with the Fig. with M8x25 hexagon screws.
