Milling with template guide
The template guide (32) lets you transfer
contours from templates to workpieces.
Notes
• Insert a cutter that has a diameter smal-
ler than the inner diameter of the tem-
plate guide.
Tools and aids required
• Phillips screwdriver (not included)
Inserting the template guide
(Fig. H)
1. Unscrew the suction adapter if neces-
sary.
2. Insert the template guide (32) from be-
low into the baseplate (8). The ball
race must point downwards.
3. Fasten the template guide (32) using
the enclosed screws (21).
Procedure

2. Loosen the lever (1) and lower the
device downward until the previously
set milling depth is reached.
3. Move the device with protruding tem-
plate guide (32) along the template.
Apply slight pressure during this work.
NOTICE! The template must be at least
as high as the ball race.
Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and disconnect
the plug from the power outlet. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to
a complete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Always carry the device by the handle
(2).
Cleaning, maintenance
and storage
WARNING! Electric shock! Risk of in-
jury due to unintentional start-up. Protect
yourself when performing maintenance or
cleaning work. Switch off the device and
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
You should have any repair and mainten-
ance work that is not described in these
instructions carried out by our Service
Centre. Only use original replacement
parts.
Cleaning
WARNING! Electric shock! Never
spray down the device with water.
NOTICE! Risk of damage. Chemical sub-
stances may attack the plastic parts of the
machine. Do not use any cleaning agents
or solvents.
• Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing
and handles of the machine clean. Use
a damp cloth or brush to do this.
Maintenance
1. Check the device before each use for
obvious defects such as loose, worn or
damaged parts.
2. If the ball bearing (b) of a cut-
ter has come loose, retighten it
using a hex key.
Storage
Always store the device and accessories:
• clean
• dry
• protected against dust
• out of the reach of children
