INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING THE SENSOR RANGE:

The faucet has an adjustable sensor with a default range set at the factory. If you
need to change the range, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 7. The sensing
distance is adjustable from 2" (5 cm) to 12" (30 cm).
1. Place the magnet provided on the upper right corner of the sensor for 3 seconds.
When the magnet is in place, the solenoid will open, water will fl ow, and the LED
turns on.
2. After 3 seconds, the solenoid closes, the water stops fl owing, and the LED dims.
3. Remove the magnet. The LED will fl ash slowly for 5 seconds indicating that the
sensor is in setup mode.
4. While in setup mode, hold your hand at the desired distance from the sensor.
Note: You need to position your hand at the desired distance in front of the sensor
during this setup mode. If you do not position your hand during this time, the sensor
may set the range to the sink edge, especially one that is highly refl ective. If this
happens, you need to set the sensor range again.
5. When the LED stops fl ashing, the sensor will start learning the new range. If there is
no target in range, the LED will fl ash
3 times after 15 seconds and keep
its previous setting.
6. When the sensor has successfully
set the new range, the LED will
turn off briefl y, then turn on for
2 seconds and save the new
setting. If the sensor cannot set
the new range, the LED will fl ash
3 times after 15 seconds and keep
its previous setting. Note: Closer
ranges are set faster than those
further from the sensor.
7. If the faucet loses power, such as when the battery is replaced, the faucet will keep
the range setting.
