MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive
maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION: Make sure the engine is completely shut down before performing any maintenance
or repair. This will eliminate any potential risk.

OIL CHECK AND OIL CHANGE
ATTENTION: The engine oil is best changed when the engine is at working temperature. Beware of
oil, as being hot can cause burns.
To check the oil:
1.
Place the machine on a flat, horizontal, unobstructed surface.
2.
Remove the 2 screws (turn counterclockwise) securing the motor access cover (A) and remove the cover.
3.
Remove the dipstick, clean it with a piece of cloth or paper, insert the dipstick, screw it on and check the
mark left by the oil. The signal left by the oil must be at the maximum permissible level.
4.
If the mark is below the minimum, add a little more oil and check again.
5.
If the oil level is too high, drain some oil until the correct level is reached.
6.
When finished, reinstall (turn clockwise) the oil fill plug until firm. Clean any oil residue from the machine.
7.
Reinstall the motor access cover and secure with the 2 screws (turn clockwise).
To change the engine oil:
1.
Place the machine on a flat, level surface and have a container ready to collect the drained oil.
2.
Remove the 2 screws (turn counterclockwise) securing the motor access cover and remove the cover.
3.
Clean the machine around the oil fill hole so that no dirt or other material enters the engine when the plug is
removed.
4.
Unscrew (turn counterclockwise) and remove the oil plug.
