However, it issuggested thatyouverify theoperation
of theelectronic oven controls o ncemore. R efer t othe
Electronic Oven Control G uide foroperation. Follow the
instructions fortheClock, T imer, Bake, Broil, C onvection
(some models) andClean functions.
Bake-After setting the ovento 350°F (177°C) for
baking, t he lowerelement i nthe ovenshould become
red.
Broil-When the ovenissetto BROIL, the upper element
in theovenshouldbecome r ed.
Clean-When t heovenis setfor a self-cleaning cycle, t he
upperelement should become redduringthe preheat
portionof thecycle. A fterreaching t heself-cleaning
temperature, the lowerelement will become red.
Convection (somemodels)-When t he ovenissetto
CONV. BAKE/ROAST
at350°F (177°C), the convection
element cycles o n andoff andtheconvection f anturns.
Theconvection f anwill stopturningwhentheovendoor
isopened duringconvection b akingor roasting.
WarmerDrawer(somemodels)-Set thecontrol k nob
to HIandcheck to seethedrawer is heating.
When All Hookups are Complete
Makesure allcontrols a releftontheOFF position.
Make sure theflowof combustion andventilation a irtothe
range isunobstructed.
Model and Serial Number
Location
The serial plate is located on the oven front frame behind
the oven door (some models) or on the drawer side frame
(some models).
When ordering parts for or making inquiries about your
range, always be sure to include the model and serial
numbers and a lot number or letter from the serial plate
on your range.
Your serial plate also tells you the rating of the burners,
the type of fuel and the pressure the range was adjusted
for when it left the factory.
