STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Wait 5 minutes after the machine has been turned off so that it cools down before storing the machine or transporting it.
Lightly lubricate all log splitter surfaces and moving parts to prevent rusting.
Store the equipment indoors or in protected areas in extreme weather conditions and during winter months.
Store this tool out of the reach of children, in a safe place where it cannot endanger anyone; in a dry, clean area
and at a temperature between 0ºC and 45ºC.
Before storing the machine, follow the points in the maintenance chapter.
When the machine is not in use, it must be stored clean, on a flat surface.
If you are going to store the machine in an enclosed area, drain the fuel as the vapours may come into contact
with a hot flame or body and ignite.
DISPOSING / RECYCLING
Worn products are potentially recyclable and should not be disposed of in the usual bin. Help us protect the
environment and preserve natural resources.
Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly way. Do not throw it away with the household rubbish. Its
plastic and metal components can be separated and recycled. Take this device to an approved recycling centre (green
point).
Gasoline, used oils, oil / gasoline mixtures as well as objects stained with gasoline (e.g.: cloths) should not be disposed
of into the domestic waste, pipes, soil, rivers, lakes or the sea. All objects stained with oil must be disposed of
according to the local regulations: take it to the most suitable recycling centre.
Package materials are recyclables. Please, throw them away on the appropriate rubbish bin.
GUARANTEE
GREENCUT offers a 2 years guarantee (in Europe) for all its products. The guarantee is subject to the purchasing date,
taking into account the design and purpose of the product. In order to claim your guarantee, you must present your
receipt of purchase, -which should include the purchasing date, its description, and the faulty product.
The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, especially for blades, blade assembly parts, turbines, light sources, fan
and transmission belts, impellers, air filters, sparkplugs, and damage due to inappropriate usage, especially caused by
a failure to observe the instructions and maintenance in this manual.
In the event that repairs or modifications have been made by the consumer or any other than with the original
GREENCUT spare parts, the guarantee will be voided.
In case of a justified guarantee claim, we are authorised, at our discretion, to repair or replace the defective tool free
of charge. Other claims that exceed this guarantee will not be valid.
Product failure or damage due to misuse or as a result for not following the maintenance schedule will void the
guarantee. In order to claim your guarantee, you will need to present records of maintenance performed to the
machine.
