k. Once the machine is in the bed of the truck/trailer, secure it in place using the tie-down straps. One strap to secure
the front of the machine and two remaining strap to secure the hitch.
l. Use the steering wheel to turn the front wheels to the left or right as far as they will go.
m. Engage the parking brake.
To unload the machine from a truck or trailer
a. Release the tie-down straps and disengage the parking brake.
b. Use the steering wheel to turn the front wheels so they are parallel to the direction of the machine.
c. Unfold the ramps and align the top of each ramp with the center of the corresponding front wheel.
d. Use the measuring tape to make sure that the bottom ends of the ramps are parallel to the top ends.
e. Connect one end of the ratchet strap to the safety chain hook on the truck/trailer. Connect the other end to the hinge
(or middle) of the ramp. Repeat this step with the other ramp.
f. Tighten the straps and make sure the ramps are secure and there's no movement when you tug on the straps.
WARNING: Always make sure the ramps are properly secured. Improperly secured ramps may cause the machine
to fall down, causing serious personal injury and damage.
g. Use the measuring tape to once again verify that the ramps are parallel.
h. Each person should place one hand on the plastic enclosure near the control panel and the other hand of the rear
fender and carefully lead the machine down the ramp. NEVER use the steering wheel, the deck height adjustment
lever, or any part of the seat to push/support the machine.
STORAGE
The following steps should be taken in order to prepare the tractor for storage.
◾
Remove the battery packs from the tractor and store the batteries in dry location at room temperature.
◾
Remove the safety key from the tractor.
◾
Thoroughly clean the tractor. See section "CLEANING THE MACHINE" in this manual for reference.
◾
Inspect the tractor for worn or damaged parts and tighten any nuts or screws that may have become loose.
◾
Store the tractor in a dry, clean location. Do not store it next to corrosive materials, such as fertilizer or rock salt.
◾
Store the tractor in a covered, enclosed space, out of the reach of children.
NOTICE: Plastic coverings trap moisture around the tractor, which causes rust and corrosion.
