CAUSE
◾
The deck is set to cut too much grass at once
when the grass is tall.
◾
The grass is wet.
◾
The driving speed is high.
◾
The blade speed is low.
◾
Lawn terrain, grass conditions, cutting-height
setting, driving speed, blade speed, etc. will
greatly affect the running time.
◾
The tire pressures of the left and right wheels are
different.
◾
The travel path of the parking-brake pedal is
clogged with debris.
◾
The plug of the charger is not inserted correctly
into the charging port on the tractor.
◾
There is no power in the wall outlets.
◾
Charger malfunction.
◾
The charger port on the tractor is faulty.
◾
The charger is not suitable.
◾
Firmware bug of the tractor or the battery pack or
the charger failure.
◾
Improper cleaning, such as water getting on the
electric components, LCD screen etc.
◾
The deck was not properly cleaned after previous
use.
SOLUTION
◾
Begin with a high cutting height and reduce it until the
desired mowing result is attained. Grass over 6 inches
(152 mm) tall should be mowed twice, at successively
lower cutting heights.
◾
Do not mow when the grass is wet. Wait until the
grass dries.
◾
Slow down the driving speed.
◾
Increase the blade speed gradually.
◾
Refer to chapter "TIPS TO INCREASE THE RUN TIME"
for instructions.
◾
Check and adjust the air pressure in both front and
rear wheel tires, according to in section "CHECKING
THE TIRE PRESSURE" in this manual.
◾
Check and remove the debris.
◾
Reconnect the charger plug to see whether the tractor
can be charged normally.
◾
No action is needed. Wait until the power recovers.
◾
Please contact EGO customer service center and have
the charger inspected and/or repaired, if needed, by a
qualified service technician.
◾
Please contact EGO customer service center and have
repairs performed by a qualified service technician.
◾
Use specified EGO chargers for charging the electric
lawn tractor directly.
◾
Reset the charger by unplugging the charger and
waiting for longer than 1min. Then reconnect the
plug to the power supply. If this does not solve the
problem, call EGO Customer Service Center.
◾
Follow the instructions in section "GENERAL
MAINTENANCE"to clean the tractor correctly.
◾
If the tractor caught in rain accidentally, leave it for
over 12 hours to dry or use compressed air to dry it.
◾
Clean the tractor deck after each use, following the
section "Using wash port to clean the deck".
