56-VOLT LITHIUM-ION ELECTRIC LAWN TRACTOR — TR4200/TR4200-FC
CAUSE
◾
The combined Ah of the inserted batteries is less
than 15Ah.
◾
The parking-brake pedal is set in the parking-
brake position.
◾
The tractor status indicator does not shine green.
◾
The operator is not sitting on the seat.
◾
The seat safety interlock system is not connected
properly.
◾
Under extreme cold weather, the driving function
may not start successfully due to the low
temperature protection.
◾
The travel path of the accelerator pedal is clogged
with debris.
◾
Failure of mechanical or electronic components of
the accelerator pedal.
◾
The direction control lever is placed in the neutral
position.
SOLUTION
◾
In order to start this tractor, EGO batteries totaling
15Ah (2 x BA4200/BA4200T) or more are required.
For best performance, we recommend use of EGO
batteries that total 30Ah or more.
◾
Fully depress the parking-brake pedal to release it
from the parking-brake position.
◾
Depress the parking-brake pedal and then release.
The tractor status indicator will shine green, which
means the tractor is ready to start.
◾
The tractor can only be operated, when the operator is
properly sitting on the seat.
◾
Remove the batteries from the tractor and lift the back
of the seat up to make sure that the cable plug is
properly connected to the socket on the bottom of the
seat (see chapter "INSTALLING THE SEAT"). Follow
the instructions in "STARTING THE ELECTRIC LAWN
TRACTOR" to restart the tractor to see if the tractor
can be started. If not, please contact EGO customer
service center and have repairs performed by a
qualified service technician.
◾
Always store the tractor and batteries in warm
environment. Restart the tractor when it is warmed
up. Please do not make repeated attempts under
extreme cold weather which may damage the
machine. Recommended operating temperature is
32°F–104°F (0°C–40°C).
◾
Check and remove the debris.
◾
Please contact EGO customer service center and have
repairs performed by a qualified service technician.
