Use for top browningor broiling. For best
results,usethe broilerpanprovided with your
range•Top rack positionis on theoven rack.
Removeoven rack and placebroiler pan on
the oven bottomfor bottomrack position.
1. Pressthe BROILpad.
2, Press the AUTO SET pad for HI broil,
press again for LO broil, or press the
appropriatenumber pads to set desired
broil temperature between 3000 and
5500F.
3. For optimalbroiling,preheatfive minutes.
4. Placefood in oven. Closeoven door.
5. Followbroilingrecommendations in chart.
6. Whenbroilingis complete,press CANCEL
pad. Removefood and broiler pan from
oven.

I HI broil is usedfor most broiling.Use
LO broil when broiling longer cooking
foodsto allowthemto cooktowelldone
stage withoutexcessivebrowning.
I Nevercover broiler paninsertwith alu-
minumfoil. Thispreventsfat fromdrain-
ing to the pan below•
I Broilingcanbedoneon theovenrack or
removeovenrackand placebroilerpan
on the oven bottom.
BAKING
! To recall the set temperature during
preheatpress the BAKEpad.
I To change oven temperature during
cooking,pressthe BAKEpad and the
appropriatenumberpads.
I Allow9-13 minutesfor the upperoven
to preheat. Allow 7-12 minutesfor the
loweroven to preheat.
I Allow at least 1/2-inchbetween the
bakingpanor casseroleand thebroil
burnerin the upperoven. Loaf,angel
food or bundt pans are not recom-
mendedin the upper oven.
! Donot usetemperaturesbelow140° F
