Use with vacuum film bags
Before using the appliance, always ensure that the
vacuum hose with adapter attachment is correctly
attached to the appliance (see illustration) and that the
foam gaskets and the collection container are correctly
fitted!
Preparing the bags
∙ Put the prepared food into a bag, ensuring that the bag
opening remains absolutely clean and dry.
Hint: For easy, clean filling of the bags, turn down the
rim around the opening a few cm. After filling, unroll the
rim again.
∙ Fill the bags only up to max. 5 cm below the opening.
∙ If necessary, the food may be dabbed with a kitchen
towel first to remove any residual liquid from the outside.
Air extraction and sealing
∙ Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.
∙ Fold up the cover by the handle.
∙ Place the filled bag with its open end in the centre of
the vacuum chamber. The bag opening must be clean
and free of any wrinkles or creases where it touches the
sealing bar.
∙ Fold down the cover and press the handle to lock it in
place (you will hear a click).
∙ Use the
Pressure button to select the desired
setting for vacuum sealing (see table above). The
selected setting lights up.
∙ Use the
Seal button to select the desired setting for
sealing (see table above). The selected setting lights up.
∙ Use the
Functions button to select the Vac + Seal
function (vacuum sealing and sealing) or Seal function
(sealing only).
∙ Press the
Start/Stop button. This will initiate the
process.
∙ Ensure that no liquid is sucked in!
∙ Tip! To prevent liquids from being sucked in or
delicate food from being crushed, always observe the
suction process. By pressing the

bag is sealed.
∙ Once all the air is extracted, the bag opening is
automatically sealed.

Press to start and stop the process
The appliance is too hot. Unplug the power cord and let the appliance cool
down for at least 5 minutes.

∙ When the process is complete,
flashes for a few seconds. Do not open the cover until
then.
∙ Fold up the cover by the handle and remove the bag.
Using with a vacuum container
Vacuum containers are not included. Commercially
available vacuum containers with a suitable connection can
be used.
Before using the appliance, always ensure that the
foam gaskets and the collection container are correctly
fitted!
Preparing the container
∙ Put the prepared food into a vacuum container.
∙ Replace the cover on the container and close it.
∙ Caution: The rim of the container (seals, gaskets etc.)
must be absolutely clean, dry and free of fat or oil!
Preparing the air-extraction process
∙ Connect the appliance to the mains.
∙ Remove the transparent adapter attachment with a
rubber seal from the vacuum hose.
∙ Attach the vacuum hose to the valve on the vacuum
container.
∙ Set the valve on the container to the vacuum position.
Air extraction
∙ Fold down the handle on the appliance.
∙ Press the
Functions button repeatedly until
Accessory lights up on the display.
∙ The display shows
∙ When the process is complete,
flashes for a few seconds.
∙ Set the valve on the container in position

∙ Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Opening the container
∙ To open the vacuum container, set the valve on the
container to the position.
