You should clean your fountain regularly. The cleaning frequency depends on the number of animals that use the fountain. The
greater the number of animals that use it, the more frequently you will need to clean the fountain.
Filter: for an optimal use of the fountain, the charcoal filter must be replaced every month. You can purchase a set of 6 filters from
your retailer at any time or on NUM'AXES website at www.numaxes.com.
Fountain: clean your fountain ideally every 2 weeks using warm soapy water.
Pump: you should clean the pump at least once a month following the instructions below:
1)
Carefully lift the pump from the base of the fountain.
2)
Remove the grill, the propeller cover and the propeller.
3)
You can clean all parts with warm soapy water. Use a cotton bud to remove any dirt. For a more effective cleaning,
clean the pump with white vinegar.
4)
Rinse all components thoroughly.
5)
Once they are clean and dry, re-assemble the pump components.
