♦ Dual watch/Tri-watch:
This setting can be selected as dual watch or tri-watch.
♦ Beep function:
You can select silent operation by turning OFF this function, or you can have confirmation beeps sound at the push of a key by turning ON the
beep tones.
♦ LCD backlight:
The LCD backlight brightness can be setting from 1 level (dark) to 4 levels (bright), or OFF (off). The LCD backlight is also setting by pressing
and holding the [SCAN] key and pressing [▲] or [▼].
♦ LCD contrast:
The LCD contrast can be set in 4 levels, 1 is the lowest contrast, and 4 is the highest contrast.
♦ AF level adjustment:
When this function is ON, a beep is emitted to adjust the audio frequency level via [VOL] knob.
♦ Favourite channel:
Set the favourite channel function ON or OFF.
The favourite channels are set by the TAG channel setting.
If the function is ON, press [▲] or [▼] key on the microphone to sequentially select the favourite channels in the selected channel group.
"FAVORITE" scrolls in the channel comment display.
♦ Remote ID:
Set a remote ID code between 01 and 69.
The format of the remote ID code conforms to the NMEA statement format and is sent to the external dedicated device along with the MMSI
code.
