• Always make sure to lock both lower rails before you leave a patient unattended.
• Always use the center of the lower rail to close the protective top.
C C A A U U T T I I O O N N - - Do not use the protective top as a push/pull device. Product damage may occur.
To position the retracting protective top:
1. To open the protective top, squeeze the two release knobs (E) and lift the lower rail (F) to the desired position (Figure
17).
2. To close the protective top, grasp the lower rail (F) and lower it until it locks into position (Figure 17).
N N o o t t e e - - Make sure that the lower rail spring plungers are secure in the slot of the plastic structures (B).
