POWER UNIT (MOTOR) STARTUP /
SHUTDOWN
Follow these steps whenever instructed to start

up the motor.
Refer to the Honda instruction manuals (Battery
Pack, Battery Charger, and Power Unit) for all
safety information and usage instructions for the
Power Unit.
1. Make sure battery is charged and installed correctly.
2. Press the "POWER" button (Fig. 6, item 1) to switch the
power on. The green power indicator light (3) will turn on
after a few seconds.
3. Press "START" (2) to start the motor.
4. To shut off the motor, press the "STOP" switch. This will
also switch off power to the system.
INJECTION HAZARD. Shutting off the power to
the unit does not automatically relieve system
pressure. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure
(Section 4.5).
