Step 2: Enable fastening
▶ Mark the drilling position on three roof
pillars.
A T T E N T I O N
Damage to vehicle due to drilling
Incorrect drilling through the roof pillars
can damage underlying components.
▶ Observe the vehicle manufacturer's set-
up guidelines.
▶ Use a drill sleeve.
▶ Drill through holes Ø 11 mm.
▶ Deburr the holes.
▶ Set blind rivet nuts b.
Step 3: Fix the product in place
▶ Position the product at the required
installation position.
▶ Fix the product in place.
▶ Tighten screws d with 18-25 Nm.
Loading
▶ Pull out locking pin F.
▶ Fold down holder E.
▶ Engage locking pin F.
▶ Hook the ladder into holder D.
▶ Press holder Dwith the ladder against
stop C and depress gas pressure spring B.
▶ Hook the ladder into holder E.
▶ Make sure that the initial tension of the gas
pressure spring is sufficient to secure the
ladder.
Unloading
Note: Unloading follows in the reverse order
described for loading.
Settings
Distance between ladder rungs
▶ Remove screws I of limit stopC on both
sides. 2 28
▶ Secure limit stop C at the required position
using screws I.
Depth of ladder rungs
▶ Remove screws H and G of brackets D
and E.

▶ Secure holders D and E with
screws H and G at the required position.
