8.- Configuration

-The default password is used in all the examples shown. If you have changed it, remember to replace it
with the current password.
-In addition to the method described below, the configuration can also be carried out using the
SOFTGSM software, refer to the manual included in the CD.
Alarm configuration is carried out sending messages (SMS) to the telephone number installed in the alarm (SIM
Card).
Establishment of administrator password
Allows establishing an administrator password, necessary for modifying any parameter of the unit.
Send "ADMIN, <previous password>, <new password>" (The default password is "1234").
Example: To change the default password (1234) to 1881, send:
After a few seconds, the alarm responds with the message:
ADMIN OK
ATTENTION: The telephone from which the administrator password change is made will now be the
ADMINISTRATOR telephone, where the power supply and battery alerts will be sent (see page 16) and
the start-up message. Note down and save the chosen password in a safe place to make future changes
in configuration. The password can only be reestablished using the SOFTGSM software.
Customisation of power supply and battery messages
It allows establishing the messages to be sent by the alarm in the event of a power failure or reestablishment to
230 V. Send "BATMSG, <administrator password> <message in the event of failure>, <message in the
event of reestablishment>.
Example:
After a few seconds, the alarm responds with the message:
ADMIN, 1234, 1881
BATMSG, 1234,
Power failure,
The power supply has
been reestablished
