Initial prime *
With air pressure at zero:
23 Connect a product hose to fluid outlet.
24 Direct hose into an appropriate collection
container.
25 Place pump in fluid to be dispensed.
26 Slowly supply air pressure to pump
motor.
27 Allow pump to cycle slowly until fluid is
free of air.
If pump does not prime, refer to
Troubleshooting, page 13, for details.
Stall
28 Attach a control valve to outlet hose of
pump.
29 Make sure nozzle on control valve is
open.
30 Slowly supply air pressure to pump
motor.
31 Allow pump to cycle slowly until fluid is
once again free of air.
32 Set air pressure to normal operating
pressure.
33 Operate control valve into a container.
34 Shut off control valve.
35 Visually inspect pump for external leaks.
36 Pump should not cycle more than once
or twice in one hour.

Troubleshooting, page 13, for details.

Air leakage
37 Check motor for air leakage.
38 Refer to air motor manual if motor leaks.
