Pressure equipment directive (DGRL)

The pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC is concerned with harmonization of the
European Union's statutory regulations for pressure equipment. Pressure equipment
within the meaning of the guideline are containers, pipes and items of equipment with
a maximum permissible pressure of more than 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure.
The pressure equipment directive has been applicable since 29th November 1999
and in force since 29th May 2002.
The SITRANS P, series ZD has been classified by DGRL 97/23/EC for gases fluid
group 1 and liquids fluid group 2 Article 3 Para. 3 (sound engineering practice).
