(2) LOADING THE BATTERIES
Two S-76, A-76, G-13, 1.5 volt batteries are used in this camera.
1. The battery cover can be opened by turning it anti¬
clockwise with a coin.
2. Load the two batteries correctly according to the
polarit indications on the battery cover.
3 Turn the battery cover clockwise to screw it back into
position.
HOW TO CHECK THE BATTERIES
Set the selector dial to AUTO", depress the shutter release
button half way and any one of the L E D. lamps in the view¬
finder should light when the batteries have sufficient current
to operate the camera.
If none of the L.E.D.'s light up the batteries need replacing.

Note
Make sure that the batteries are wiped clean of any finger marks, grease or oil, before
insertion.
Take the batteries out when your camera is not in use for a long or indefinite period. The
batteries should last for approximately one year. It would be advisable after this period to
replace your batteries with new ones.
