I. Presentation
This term establishes the conditions of limited warranty of the BAUMER Product to the original Buyer, in which
Baumer SA guarantees that its products are delivered free of manufacturing defects.
II. Warranty Term
The guarantee starts with the issuance of the sales invoice and has the following terms:
• 5 (five) years for pressure vessels (steam sterilizers and steam generation boiler);
• 13 (thirteen) months against manufacturing defect for general parts, not indicated in specific warranty;
• 6 (six) months for electrical / electronic material, hydraulic seals and other items contained in the specific
section of the instructions for use or manual of the equipment;
• 90 (ninety) days for components susceptible to normal wear and tear such as lamps, plugs, fittings,
connectors, instrumentation cables, removable accessories, reverse osmosis membranes and other items
contained in the specific section of the instructions for use or equipment manual.
III. Condition for granting the Limited Warranty
Formal proof of compliance with the following criteria is a condition for granting the product warranty:
1. The product has been received by the Buyer, attesting to its verification with that informed in the invoice at
the time of delivery, free of apparent damages and with the packaging intact;
2. The installation has occurred as determined by the Product Installation Guide or the Installation Manual, with
the correct completion of the Technical Delivery Report (RET);
3. The installation has been done by an accredited professional or formally authorized by Baumer;
4. The Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operation Qualification (OQ) protocols have been executed and
approved as required by law and / or indicated as mandatory in the Installation Guide or Manuals / Instruction
for Use;
5. Check the preventive maintenance, indicated in the product manual, through records;
6. Use original parts and / or components for the Equipment, that is, only those supplied by Baumer SA;
7. Do not allow intervention by unauthorized technical agents for repairs, applications and installations of
additional components;
8. Formally return to Baumer SA (Mogi Mirim factory), through its authorized agent, within a maximum period of
10 (ten) working days, the components and / or parts replaced under warranty.
Note: The guarantee can be suspended at any time in case of pending issues regarding clause III item 8. If
there are open return parts, corrective maintenance will be charged, with presentation of a linked budget.
IV. Effectiveness of the Guarantee
The guarantee will only be formally granted to the Buyer with proof of compliance with the items listed in section
III of this document, and must be sent to Baumer SA at the physical or electronic address contained in the
Installation Guide and / or Instruction for Use or Product Manual the following documents:
1. To grant the Initial Warranty:
The. Term of receipt of the product by the carrier with the acceptance and checked by the recipient;
B. Technical delivery report completed by the representative of Baumer SA or by a person duly authorized for its
execution;
ç. Installation and Operation Qualification Protocols completed and approved (where applicable).
2. To grant the Warranty after installation:
The. Evidence of the performance of preventive maintenance in accordance with the Instructions for Use or
Product Manual.
Note: the warranty of the components exchanged is subject to the term of Section III.8. Once the component
replaced under warranty has been received and, after technical analysis, if improper replacement is proven (due
to misuse, a non-original component or a situation that does not characterize a product failure or component
under warranty), Baumer SA reserves the right to charge the replaced component to the Buyer or responsible
for the exchange.
