To replace the safety valve, proceed as follows:
With the sterilizer off and depressurized open the front finish using the key provided with the
equipment;
Remove the safety valve by turning it counterclockwise with the help of a fixed wrench;
Apply PTFE thread sealing tape to the thread of the new safety valve;
Assemble the safety valve by turning clockwise and keep the valve outlet directed towards the
rear of the equipment or tightness;
To test the safety valve, pressurize the system in which the valve is mounted and activate the
stem to promote vapor escape under pressure. When the stem is deactivated, the safety valve
must not pass through steam.
12.12 Replacing the door micro switch
The micro switch is located attached to the pneumatic actuator for closing the doors, and each door has one. It
has the function of ensuring that the door has been closed and remains in this position during the sterilization
cycle.
To replace the door micro switch, proceed as follows:
With the sterilizer off, open the front panel using the key provided with the equipment;
Open the protective cover of the micro switch and disconnect the wires from the contacts;
Remove the micro switch from the holder with the aid of an allen key and fixed key;
Adjust the new micro switch according to Figura 17;
Fix the new micro switch in the holder with the aid of an allen key and fixed key;
Connect the wires to the contacts according to the electrical diagram and close the protective
cover of the micro switch;
Make adjustments to the drive arm of the micro switch and test to validate its operation.
