Qualifi ed personnel for installation work of roofi ng windows, tradesmen
and trainees under the supervision of qualifi ed persons, electrical staff

Hazards during roof works and local accident prevention and safety
regulations, knowledge of local building regulations, connection of
electronic components

Installation, expansion, recycling, commissioning, electrically motorised
operation, cleaning, maintenance, repairs

Operation in case of frost; Manual operation

Use only products tested and explicitly approved by Roto.

Use suitable aids; Crane transport not permitted
Before unpacking:
Do not place product top-side down. Storage on the side, as well as sto-
rage on the bottom are permitted and safe. Opening the box: Exclusively
with the available opening fl aps. Disposal of the packaging material: No
special features.
Conditions for installation:
1) A fully installed Roto roof window is required to install the product.
2) Visual inspection of the existing Roto roof window for damage
3) Roof tilt of 15-90 °
4) Installation from the inside
Product functions:
1) Electrically motorised opening/closing via transmitter/button.
2) Darkening/shading
3) Charging the integrated battery via the integrated solar module
Dismantling:
Only by qualifi ed personnel (see target group)
Disposal of the product:
Electrically powered components of the product must be disposed of
professionally, e.g. at local recycling centres.
