positioned about 25/32" from the ceiling. Once the bracket is fixed, it is possible to lift the upper
chimney (ref.2, the one with the grate) and lock it to the bracket (ref.5) using No. 2 screws, one on
each side (ref.4).
• Now you can reassemble the drawer containing the condensate drip tanks and grease filters (reverse
operation to that performed in Figures 4,5 and 6).
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION. Prior to any cleaning or maintenance, remove power to the hood by removing the cord or
disconnecting the main house switch. Routine cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by
children without supervision.
Cleaning
The product should be cleaned frequently both internally and externally with a cloth dampened with
lukewarm water and neutral non-abrasive liquid detergent.
Wear cut-resistant gloves before cleaning the inside of the product.
The metal grease filter is responsible for retaining grease particles from cooking fumes and preserving the
vacuum cleaner motor, so it is subject to clogging at varying times depending on the use of the appliance.
To remove the filters, follow the directions in Figures 5 and 6.
The filters are dishwasher safe with short wash cycles at low temperatures, at most about every 2 months
to avoid fire hazards. After a few washes the filter may vary in color, this fact does not give the right to claim
for any replacements.
CONDENSATE COLLECTION TRAYS (figures 27 - 28)
Their task is to collect condensation that forms on the filters and drains from them. They should be
periodically emptied and dried. The trays are dishwasher safe with short wash cycles at low temperatures.
To empty the condensate trays, follow the directions in Figures 27 and 28.
