Product usage
Before first use
Clean the unit before first use (
Do not place the unit on a hot surface such as a stove or near the edge of a countertop
where it could accidentally fall off.
Find a location for the unit that is on a stable, level, heat-resistant, non-slip surface.
The unit may give off a little smoke or a slight odour on the first use. This is normal due
to its newness and will go away with regular use. Alternatively, you can turn the unit on
for 10 minutes prior to use to remove the smell and smoke.
Setting up the air fryer
Using the handle, pull out the pot.
Insert the metal rack into the pot.
Slide the pot back into the bottom of the main body until it clicks into place.
Operation
WARNING – RISK OF BURNS!
Make sure children are kept a safe distance away from the unit at all times
when it is being used and when it is cooling down.
Never pour oil or fat into the pot. It is designed to fry the food using hot air
that circulates from the top to the bottom of the unit. If necessary, you can
very lightly coat food with oil to help it crisp up.
Make sure there is sufficient ventilation (at least 10cm) around the unit.
Never move the unit when it is in use or cooling down.
Never use the unit without the pot in place.
Never touch the unit anywhere except for the handle or knobs when it is
warming up, in use or cooling.
During cooking or when removing the pot, be careful of steam that may be
emitted from the vents/air outlets on the pot. Keep your face and hands away
from steam.
