Product usage
NOTE:
Do not place anything on top of the unit as this disrupts the air flow and
affects the cooking results.
When using the unit and for 10 minutes after cooking, we recommend that
you open a window or turn on an extraction fan to keep the room odour-free.
When the unit is completely cool, use the handles on the bottom of the unit
to carry and move it.
1.
Unwind the power cord completely.
2.
Plug the power cord into a mains socket. Make sure the power cord does not come into
contact with the exterior of the unit as this will become hot during use.
3.
Using the handle, pull out the pot.
4.
Put the ingredients on the metal rack. Make sure the volume of the food does not exceed
the MAX mark.
5.
Slide the pot back into the bottom of the main body until it clicks into place and is properly
closed.
NOTE:
Refer to the AIR FRYING GUIDE section below for assistance in setting the
cooking time and temperature. It takes the air fryer approximately 3 minutes
to preheat. You can either place food in the air fryer before preheating and
factor in the preheating time to your overall cooking time, or you can wait
for the air fryer to preheat and then add the ingredients into the air fryer.
The air fryer will not work if the pot is incorrectly placed in the main body.
Make sure the front cover is flush with the main body and that the pot clicks
into place when inserted.
6.
Turn the timer knob clockwise to the desired cooking time (in minutes). The air fryer
immediately starts to count down the set time. The red power indicator light turns on
to show the unit is turned on. Then turn the temperature knob clockwise to the desired
cooking temperature (°C). The green working indicator light turns on to show the unit is
heating up. Once the air fryer has preheated and reached the set temperature the green
working indicator light turns off.
NOTE:
During cooking, the green indicator light will go on and off as the unit maintains
the cooking temperature.
Make sure all food is cooked thoroughly before eating.
7.
To prevent some foods from sticking together and ensure even cooking, you may need to
give the ingredients a shake during cooking. To do this, hold the pot handle and carefully
pull out the pot, keep your face/skin away from any steam that may escape. Give the
ingredients a shake or turn them over and then place the pot back into the main body.
Cooking will automatically resume when the pot is reinserted. Avoid shaking food for
longer than 30 seconds, as the air fryer will start to cool down.
