Changing Pump Oil
Change oil after first 50 hours of operation and then
every 200 hours or 3 months, whichever occurs first.
NOTE: When changing pump oil, use only high quality
nondetergent 30 weight oit. Use no special additives.
Change pump oil as follows:
1.
Clean area around brass oil drain plug at bottom
of pump.
2.
Remove oil drain plug. Drain oil completely into an
approved container.
3.
When oil has completely drained, install oil drain
plug and tighten firmly.
4.
Clean area around pump oil dipstick. Remove
dipstick and fill pump with recommended
oil to
"Full" mark on dipstick.
5.
Install pump oil dipstick.
6.
Wipe up any spilled oil.
ENGINE MAINTENANCE
Checking
Oil Level
Oil level should be checked prior to each use or at least
every 5 hours of operation. Keep oil level maintained.

CAUTION!
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin
contact with used motor oil. Used motor oil has
been shown to cause skin cancer in certain
laboratory animals. Thoroughly wash exposed
areas with soap and water.

Changing
Oil
Change engine oil after the first 5 hours and every
50 hours thereafter. If you are using your pressure
washer under extremely dirty or dusty conditions, or in
extremely hot weather, change oil more often.
Change oil while engine is still warm from running, as
follows:
1.
Drain fuel tank by running pressure washer until
fuel tank is empty.
2.
Disconnect spark plug wire and keep it away from
the spark plug.
3.
Remove oil drain plug and drain oil into
appropriate receptacle.
4.
Reinstall drain plug. Remove distick.
5.
Wipe dipstick clean. Pour oil into oil fill opening.
6.
Replace and tighten dipstick, remove and check
oil level. Oil should be at "Full" mark on the
dipstick. DO NOT OVERFILL.
7.
Install oil dipstick, hand tighten securely.
Service Air Cleaner
Your engine will not run propedy and may be
damaged if you run it with a dirty air cleaner.
Service the pre-cleaner every 25 hours of operation or
once each year, whichever comes first. Service the
cartridge every 100 hours of operation or once each
year, whichever comes first. Replace more often if
operating under dirty or dusty conditions.
To service the air cleaner, follow these steps:
1.
Loosen screw and tilt cover down.

2.
Carefully remove cartridge assembly.
3.
To clean pre-cteaner, seperate it from cartridge
and wash in liquid detergent and water. Air dry
thoroughly.
DO NOT oil pre-cteaner.
4.
To clean cartridge, gently tap pleated paper side
on a flat surface.
5.
Reinstall clean or new cartridge inside cover.
Install with arrows up and lip of pre-cteaner at
bottom of cartridge pleats.
6.
Insert cover's tabs into slots in bottom of base.
7.
Tilt cover up and tighten screw securely to base.
