4. INSTALLATION UNDER A PARASOL
For fixing the appliance under parasol only use the supplied accessory (see page 21)
1. Do not close the parasol until the heater has been switched off and has cooled down .
2. If the heater is removed from the parasol, use a water tight plug for the connection.
3. If the heater is left on the parasol, make sure that it is mounted so that the heater's shield cannot come into
contact with the canvas of the parasol; this will avoid damage.
5. POSITIONING
1.Aim the Varma Top directing it in the heating zone.
2.Never install Varma Top an inflammable surface or facing an inflammable surface.
3.Varma Top must be placed at a clear distance (line of vision) of not less than 2.0 metres from objects such as
cardboard, fabrics, curtains and windows. If used in workshops and garages where there are inflammable paints,
Varma Top must be located more than metres from the hazard.
4. We recommend that the heater is not used in dusty non-ventilated environments to avoid damage to the bulb.
5.When mounting inside a bathroom, always respect the minimum distances from showers and baths, and ensure
compliance with CEE-CEI.
6.Furthermore, the commands to adjust the appliance and turn it on and off must not be within reach of the shower
or bath.
