Safety instructions relating to use
WARNING
This drive may be used by children aged 8 and
over and by persons whose physical, sensory
or mental capacities are impaired, or persons
with little experience or knowledge, as long as
they are correctly supervised or have received
instructions on how to use the drive safely,
and fully understand the associated risks.
Do not allow children to play with the drive
control devices. Keep the remote controls out
of the reach of children.
Children must not be allowed to clean or
maintain the unit.
WARNING
Any potential users must be shown how to
use the drive by the installer, applying all the
recommendations in this manual. It is essen-
tial to ensure that no untrained persons are
able to operate the door.
The user must monitor the door during any
movements, and keep people away from it
until the door is fully open or closed.
Do not deliberately prevent the door from
moving.
The sound pressure level of the drive is less than or
equal to 70 dB(A). The noise emitted by the structure
to which the drive will be connected is not taken into
account.
WARNING
Do not use the drive if it needs repairing or
adjusting, as a fault in the installation or an in-
correctly balanced door can cause injuries.
In case of malfunction, disconnect the drive
from any power supply and unlock it immedi-
ately to gain access to it.
Contact a professional drive and home auto-
mation installer immediately.
Activating the manual back release system
could cause uncontrolled movement of the
motorised part due to mechanical faults or a
loss of balance.
Do not try to open the door manually if the
drive has not been unlocked.
WARNING
Take care when using the manual back release
device as an open door can suddenly fall off if
the springs are weak, broken, or incorrectly
balanced.
DANGER
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the installer, the After-Sales
department or a similarly qualified individual
to prevent any danger.
WARNING
Check that there is no risk that the back re-
lease device cable will become snagged on an
element protruding from the car (for example
a roof rack).

DANGER
The drive must be disconnected from any
power supply during cleaning, maintenance
and when parts are replaced.
Make sure that there no natural obstacles (branch,
stone, long grass, etc.) which could obstruct the
door's movement.
If the installation is equipped with photoelectric cells
and/or an orange light, regularly clean the photo-
electric cell optical units and the orange light.
Have the drive checked every year by a qualified
technician.
WARNING
Every month, check:
that the cables, springs and mountings show
no sign of wear, damage or imbalance.
that the motorisation changes direction when
the door encounters an object 50 mm high on
the ground.
If this is not the case, contact a professional
motorisation and home automation installer
immediately.

About the batteries
DANGER
Do not leave batteries of any kind within
reach of children. Keep them in a place inac-
cessible to children. There is a risk that they
could be swallowed by children or pets.
Danger of death! If this does occur, seek med-
ical advice immediately or go to hospital.
Ensure that the batteries are not short-cir-
cuited, thrown in the fire or recharged. There
is a risk of explosion.
2.5
Recycling and disposal
If installed, the battery must be removed from the
motorisation before the latter is disposed of.
Do not dispose of used remote control or
other batteries, if installed, with house-
hold waste. They must be taken to the
relevant recycling points.
Do not dispose of the motorisation with
household waste at the end of its life. Re-
turn the motorisation to its distributor or
use your local authority's special waste
collection services.
