CHARGING
PROPERTIES OF THE BATTERY AND ITS CHARGER
All batteries in our electric bikes use Lithium-Ion cell technology and have no memory effect. The battery can be recharged at any time. There's no need to wait until it's
completely discharged. The battery should be recharged after each use.
Battery
The bike battery is a rechargeable Lithium battery.
Input : 36 V / 14 Ah battery
Capacity : 504Wh
Do not use a different charger from the ones authorized by DECATHLON for this bike model. Using another charger may damage the battery or cause serious inci-
dents (sparks, fire).
PRECAUTIONS FOR USING THE BATTERY AND CHARGER
Battery to be handled with care. Impact sensitive.
Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 45°C in use. Charge your battery in a dry place at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C. To ensure the performance of
your battery, store it between 30 and 60% charge.
It is recommended to recharge your battery regularly; check the state of charge at least every 3 months. To ensure battery performance, it automatically goes into extended
sleep mode after 2 hours of non-use. Exiting deep sleep mode is done when turning on the bike.
Always ensure compatibility between charger and battery. Only ever use the provided charger BC222360040 or the charger advised
by Decathlon. 169ER0188F. Always make sure the charger is compatible with the local electricity network. It's important to follow the
instructions outlined on the battery charger label.
