FUNCTIONS
Basic Operation
On/Off
Press
(14) to turn the unit on. Press and
hold
(14) to turn the unit off.
Release Front Panel
Press
(2) to release the front panel.
Sound Settings
Briefly press SEL (26) to select the desired
setting mode. Repeatedly press to cycle
through the setting modes:
VOL
BAS
TRE
(Volume) (Bass) (Treble) (Balance) (Fader)
Turn the volume knob (26) clockwise or
counter-clockwise to set the desired sound
quality.
SYSTEM SETTINGS
Press and hold SEL (26) to access the sys-
tem setting mode. Press SEL (26) to selct
the item to be changed and turn the volume
knob (26) to change the setting.
1) BEEP: ON/OFF
Press button to activate/deactivate the
button beep tone.
2) P-VOL display
Pre-select the volume setting for playback.
3) AREA EUR/USA
Select Europe or USA band with the vol-
ume knob (26).
4) Time mode: 24-hour/12-hour format
Select between 24-hour and 12-hour for-
mat for the time display.
5) PCLK ON/OFF
Activate/deactivate the time display in
standby mode with the volume knob (26).
Mute
Press and hold MUTE (14) to mute the
sound; "MUTE" is displayed. Press MUTE
(14) again to unmute the sound.
Volume
Press and hold LOUD (24) to activate the
loud function; "LOUD" is displayed. Press
and hold again to deactivate the function;
"LOUD" turns off.
Display
Press DISP (19) to access display mode.
Equalizer
Press EQ (22) to select the desired sound
scenario. 5 modes are available:
BAL
FAD
Reset
Use a pen or similar object to press Reset
(25). Press Reset for following reasons:
- after the initial installation of the unit after
- in case buttons malfunction
- in case errors are displayed.
Note: The unit does not work for a moment
after pressing the Reset (25) button. Use
some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to
clean the front panel contacts.
Mode Selection
Briefly press MOD (5) to select between
Radio, CD, ESB, CARD, AUX and BT Audio.
Audio In
You can connect a portable audio player via
AUX IN (23) on the front panel. Press MOD
(5) after connection to select AUX IN mode.
RADIO OPERATION
Select Frequency/Band
Briefly press BND (24) in radio mode to se-
lect the desired frequency band. Repeatedly
press to cycle through the bands:
