FUNCTIONS
• REGION: OFF/ON
Region ON mode: AF or PI Seek function
is implemented for all stations with same
PI code as the current station.
Region OFF mode: The regional code in
the Pl code is ignored when AF is changed
or PI SEEK is implemented.
• TA volume: Preset TA volume level 18,
set to level 0-40
• RETUNE: LONG/SHORT
If the current station looses the Pl informa-
tion for a certain time (set to Retune Short
(30 seconds) or Retune Long (90 sec-
onds)), then the radio scans for the next
station with same PI.
• Traffic Announcements:
Use the TA (22) button as follows:
Press and hold to activate/deactivate TA
mode.
TA mode activated and traffic announce-
ment is broadcast:
In CD (MP3), AUX IN or IPOD modes the
unit temporarily turns into radio mode. It
temporarily tunes into an EON-linked sta-
tion if detecting an EON traffic announce-
mant at a different station. The volume is
increased if it is set below the news station
level. The volume is decreased if it is set
too high.
Press the button to deactivate the TA func-
tion temporarily. The function is not perma-
nently deactivated.

EON: Enhanced Other Network
PTY: Program Type
CD / MP3 / WMA OPERATION
• Select CD Mode
With no CD loaded:
Carefully insert a CD/MP3/WMA CD with the
label up into the CD drive until feeling a slight
resistance. The CD is automatically drawn in.
CD/MP3/WMA playback starts.
With CD/MP3/WMA already loaded in CD
drive:
Briefly press MOD (5).
• Select Track
Press (1) to select the previous/next
track. The track number is displayed.
Press and hold
ward through the track. Release the respec-
tive button for the unit to return to normal
playback.
• PAUSE
Press PAU (10) to pause playback. "PAUSE"
is displayed. Press again to resume play-
back.
• Intro All Tracks
Press SCN (12) to listen to the first few
seconds of each track, "SCAN" is displayed.
Press again to play the track in full length,
"SCAN" turns off.
When listening to MP3/WMA CDs press SCN
(12) to listen to the first few seconds of each
track. "D-SCAN" is displayed. Press again to
exit this mode.
• Repeat Track
Press RPT (13) to continuously repeat the
current track, "REPEAT" is displayed. Press
again to exit repeat mode, "S-RPT" turns off.
When listening to MP3/WMA CDs press and
hold RPT (13) to repeat all tracks, "S-RPT" is
displayed. Press again to exit this mode.
