Install pressure line
1. Screw connecting nipple (13) with round seal
ring (14) into pump outlet (2).
2. Screw elbow nipple (11) with seal (12) onto
connecting nipple (13) and turn the elbow
nipple in the required direction.
3. Connect pressure line (10) to elbow nipple (11).
4. Open all shut-off devices (valves, spray noz-
zles, water cock) in the pressure line.
5 START-UP
5.1
Fill the pump
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the
pump! Dry running will destroy the pump!

The pump must be filled with water up to the
overflow before each use so that it can draw
water immediately.
1. Open filling screw (8).
2. Fill with water via the filling screw up to the
mark on the pump housing.
3. Screw in the filling screws again.
6 OPERATION
6.1
Switching the pump on
1. Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray noz-
zle, water cock) in the pressure line.
2. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the
power socket.
3. Switch on the pump at the on / off switch.
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the
pump! A closed pressure line can result in dam-
age to the pump!

Do not allow the pump to run against a
closed pressure line.
6.2
Switching the pump off
1. Switch the pump off at the on / off switch af-
ter use.
2. Close all the shut-off devices in the pressure
line.
CAUTION! Danger of injury from hot wa-
ter After extended use against the closed pres-
sure side (> 10 min.), the water in the pump can
become very hot and may escape uncontrolled!

Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and allow the pump and water to cool down.

Put the pump into operation again only after
all the faults have been remedied!

The risk of injury from hot water can arise in the
event of:
■
Incorrect installation,
■
Closed pressure side,
■
Lack of water in the suction line, or
■
Defective pressure switch.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and allow the pump and water to cool down.
2. Check the pump, installation and water level.
3. Put the pump into operation again only after
all the faults have been remedied!
7 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
7.1
Flushing the pump
After conveying swimming pool water containing
chlorine or fluids that leave residues, the pump
must be flushed out with clear water.
1. Flush the pump with clear water.
7.2
Remove blockages
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting.
2. Disconnect suction line from pump inlet.
3. Connect pressure line to the water line.
4. Allow water to run through the pump housing
until the blockage is removed.
5. Switch on the pump briefly to check whether
it runs smoothly.
6. Put the pump into operation as described.
8 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION
DANGER! Danger of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock when working on
the pump.

Disconnect the mains plug before starting
any fault remedying work.
■
Faults in the electrical system must be recti-
fied by a qualified electrician.
NOTE In the event of faults that you cannot
rectify, please contact our Customer Service de-
partment.
