9 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION

the pump.

Disconnect the mains plug before starting
any fault remedying work.

Faults in the electrical system must be recti-
fied by a qualified electrician.
Malfunction
Motor does not run.
Pump running but does not
feed.
Delivery rate too low.

Possible cause
Impeller blocked.
Thermal protection switch has
switched off.
No mains power.
Dry running protection activat-
ed
Water level too low.
Air in pump housing.
Pump drawing in air.
Blockage on the suction side.
Pressure line closed off.
Pressure hose kinked.

Pressure hose kinked.
Hose diameter too small.
Blockage on the suction side.
Feed head to high.
Suction head too large.
NOTE In the event of faults that you cannot
rectify, please contact our Customer Service de-
partment.
Remedy
Remove dirt from the suction area.
Wait until the thermal protection
switch on the pump switches on
again. Take note of the maximum
temperature of the conveying medi-
um. Have the pump inspected.
Check fuses, have the power supply
checked by a qualified electrician.
Check suction side.
Submerge the suction hose deeper.
Fill the pump.
Check all connections and the cover
on the filter for leaks.
