Do not charge the battery for too long. To pre-
serve the battery, do not charge it above 90%.

If the device will not be used for long periods,
charge the battery every 3–4 months. The
optimum charge level for storage is between
50–80%.

Store the battery outside the device in a cool
place.

Fully insert the battery in the charger.
Charging commences, the red indicator light

Charge level/fault indicator
The device features an LED indicator [5] for check-
ing the battery level or to indicate a fault.
The LED indicator
• lights up green when the battery is being
charged.
• lights up red if the battery needs to be charged.

Press the release buttons [6] and pull the battery
[7] out of the device.

Insert the battery [7] into the handle until it clicks
into place.

Note
Up to two magazine strips can be insert-
ed into the magazine.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Pull the cocking slide [9] right back until the cock-
ing slide release [10] latches in.
3. Insert the magazine strip [19] into the magazine
as shown.

Pull the cocking slide [9] back slightly. Actuate
the cocking slide release [10] and move the
cocking slide back until it is against the magazine
strip.
Adjusting the driving depth (Fig. I)
The driving depth can be set using the depth adjust-
ment wheel [13].

Turn the depth adjustment wheel to the
left to reduce the driving depth.
▸
Turn the depth adjustment wheel to the
right to increase the driving depth.
Belt hook (Fig. I)
The belt hook [8] can be positioned on the left or
right side of the device to suit left or right-handed
users.
