cycles continuously, or
slowly (once or twice/hour).
Possible problems
Air motor not operating properly.
Pump tube jammed and/or contains loose components.
Insufficient pressure.
Excessive cycling speed.
Pump leaking internally.
Product source empty.
Pump leaking internally.
Pump leaking externally.
Distribution system leaking.
Initial tightening of adapter (5) to tube (14)
and/or air motor (3) not sufficient.
Damaged o-ring (4), o-ring (6), adapter (5) or tube (14).
Initial tightening of tube (14) to retainer (15) not sufficient.
Damaged o-ring (6), tube (14), or retainer (15).
Initial tightening of retainer (15) to adapter (19) not
sufficient.

Stop (20) misaligned in adapter (19).
Worn or damaged ball(s) (11) and/or (21).
Worn or damaged piston (13).
Worn or damaged valve seat (23).
Worn or damaged seal (16).
Solution
Inspect air motor and rebuild or replace as necessary.
Rebuild pump tube.
Increase air pressure.
Reduce air pressure.
→ Internal leaks.
Replenish product.
→ Internal leaks.
→ External leaks.
Correct leak.
Tighten adapter (5) into tube (14)
and /or air motor (3).
Disconnect tube adapter (5) from tube (14)
and motor (3). Clean and inspect all parts.
Replace parts as necessary.
Tighten tube (14) onto retainer (15).
Disconnect retainer (15) from tube (14). Clean and
inspect all parts. Replace parts as necessary.
Tighten retainer (15) onto adapter (19),
Disconnect adapter (19) from retainer (15).
Replace gasket (18).
Tighten adapter (19) onto valve seat (23).
Disconnect valve seat (23) from adapter (19).
Replace gasket (22).
Locate and eliminate source of foreign material.
Disassemble pump tube, clean, inspect, and replace
worn or damaged components.
