The earmuffs can be placed in three positions:
– Usage: When in use, the wire bands must be pushed fully inward toward your head until you hear a
"click" (Fig. 16e). The cup cushions must fully enclose the ears and seal tightly against the head. For best
attenuation performance, pull hair back from under the ears so that the cups sit close on the head.
– Standby: Wire bands may be pulled outwards until you hear a "click" indicating a shift from usage to standby.
– Parked: Cups may be rotated out of the way onto the top of the headgear (Fig. 16f) if the headgear shell is
clean and free of contamination. Care should be taken to ensure the ear cushions stay clean.
