SWITCHMATIC 2T SERIES CONTROLLER
1. GENERALITIES
Please read the instructions carefully before installing the appliance. Check the
compatibility of technical characteristics of the motor and the device.
2. DESCRIPTION (diagram A)
The SWITCHMATIC 2T unit is an electronic pressure switch with integrated digital
pressure gauge. It allows you to manage the start and stop of a three-phase pump of up
to 4.4 kW (5.5 HP). Pressures are easily adjustable through the user control panel. The
wiring is carried out in a manner analogous to that of a traditional electromechanical
pressure switch. Can operate as a pressure or differential pressure switch reversed.
The SWITCHMATIC 2T unit, in addition to all the SWITCHMATIC features, includes the
reading of instantaneous current and voltage consumed. This patented system monitors
and manages over-current, over-voltage, dry running and rapid operating cycles. The
SWITCHMATIC 2T unit, in addition to all the features of the individual assembly, includes
the option of being synchronized with another SWITCHMATIC 2T device, managing and
protecting 2 pumps operating in cascade with alternating start sequence operation.
3. CLASSIFICATION AND TYPE
According to IEC 60730-1 and EN 60730-1, this device is an electronic, sensor control
device, independently mounted, class A programming and with type 1B action (micro-dis-
connection). Operating value: I<30% Acquired Int. Pollution degree 2 (clean environment).
Rated impulse voltage: cat II / 2500V. Temperatures for the ball test: envelope (75ºC) and
PCB (125ºC).
4. OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS (diagram C)
