Warranty Certificate
Warranty Terms
1-The warranty period starts from the date of delivery of the appliance and is 2 years.
2-The entirety of your appliance, including all its parts, are covered under the warranty.
In case it is understood that the appliance is defective, the consumer may exercise one of
the following rights that are specified in the 11th article of The Law On The Protection Of The
Consumer numbered 6502;
a- Renege on contract,
b- Request discount on sale price,
c- Request free repair,
d- Request the sold product to be replaced with a non-faulty one,
can be invoked.
In case the consumer selects the right to free repair from these rights; it is obliged to repair
the appliance or have it repaired without demanding a workmanship cost, replaced part price
or any price under any name. Consumer may exercise his/her right to free repair against the
manufacturer or the importer. The vendor, manufacturer or importer is severally responsible
for ensuring that the consumer exercises this right.
5- In case that free repair right is invoked and the good malfunctions again within the warranty
period,
- exceeds the maximum time required for its repair,
- and in case the authorized service station, vendor, manufacturer or importer determines
that the appliance cannot be repaired with a report; the consumer may demand from the
vendor the refund of the appliance, a price discount at the rate of the defect or if it is possible,
the replacement of the appliance with a similar one, which is free from defects. The seller
cannot refuse the consumer's request. The seller, the producer, and the importer are jointly
liable in the event that this claim is not met.
6- The repair period of the appliance cannot elapse 20 business days. This period starts
from the date of the notification of the appliance malfunction to the authorized service station
or the vendor within the warranty period and the date of the delivery of the appliance to the
authorized service station outside the warranty period. In case the appliance malfunction
cannot be solved within 10 business days, the manufacturer or importer should provide the
consumer with another appliance with similar properties until the repair of the appliance is
completed. In case of failure of the appliance within the warranty period, the time spent in
repair shall be added to the warranty period.
7- Any defects arising from the use contrary to the instructions in the operating manual of the
appliance are not covered by the warranty.
8- Consumer can apply to Consumer Arbiter Committee or Consumer Court where the
consumer action is conducted in cases of disputes arising from issues regarding using the
warranty rights.
9- If Warranty Certificate is not provided by the seller, the user may apply to Ministry of
Customs and Market Surveillance Head Office.
Except the malfunctioned appliances sent to them by cargo, the service stations must
10-arrange a document with the following information which indicates that the malfunctioned
appliance has been received by them:
